Jenny Yoe joins the £44.9 billion investment manager1

Newton Investment Management (“Newton”), part of BNY Mellon Investment Management, has appointed Jenny Yoe as Head of UK Institutional. In this newly created role, Jenny will develop and execute Newton’s UK institutional strategy across client, new business and consultant initiatives, reporting to Julian Lyne, Chief Commercial Officer.

Responsible for the UK institutional team, Jenny will oversee Newton’s institutional sales efforts across DB, DC and lead the interaction with consultants and other fiduciaries.  In addition, she will manage Newton’s institutional client relations team.

Jenny joins Newton from State Street Global Advisors, where she was Managing Director and Head of UK and Ireland Institutional. She previously held roles as Head of UK Institutional at River and Mercantile Asset Management, and Director of UK Distribution for AMG Limited.

Whether it’s Master Trusts, Independent Trustees or OCIO’s, the UK institutional market is undergoing a period of dramatic change. Working in partnership with our institutional clients, we develop and build investment strategies designed to deliver their desired investment outcomes. Creating this senior institutional client and distribution role will further add to our capabilities and demonstrates our commitment to the UK market.

With more than two decades of experience in senior distribution roles, Jenny has a wealth of varied experience and a sound understanding of the UK institutional market, which will be integral in driving forward our domestic institutional channel. I look forward to working with Jenny to build on new opportunities, while ensuring we continue to support our existing clients.

Julian Lyne, Chief Commercial Officer at Newton
