Alexander Parkinson

Alex co-leads on maintaining systematic oversight of ESG data providers, expanding our data sources and developing tools to better use this data within the RI investment process. Alex previously worked as a senior Sustainable Investment analyst for over 8 years, mainly with a French asset manager. He also worked as a project member at the Investment Commission of the UN Environment Program Finance Initiative. Prior to this, Alex worked in private client stockbroking. Alex has two Masters degrees and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester, where he applied financial and economic anthropology to sustainable investing.
