Onkar is a responsible investment analyst supporting Newton’s responsible investment team. He is employed by Newton’s parent company, BNY Mellon Operations Limited India, which is based in Pune, India. Previously, Onkar worked with Guggenheim Partners’ Transparent Value Pvt. Ltd. as a senior equity research analyst, covering the communication services industry. His experience extends across DCF (discounted cash flow) analysis, relative valuation and ESG (environmental, social and governance) research.

Onkar has completed a Masters of Management Studies (MBA) from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University. He is associated with various local NGOs (non-governmental organisations). Outside of work, he loves playing outdoor games and trekking.
