Amit is a responsible investment analyst supporting Newton. He is employed by BNY Mellon and is based in India. At Newton, Amit is involved in undertaking research and company engagement on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. Previously, he worked with Crisil in a buy-side role tracking multiple sectors both on the fundamental and ESG side. In the past, he worked as a finance controller in IT and manufacturing companies.
Amit is a qualified Chartered Accountant, CS and CWA. Amit is an avid meditator and likes to play outdoor sports
