George is a global investment strategist guiding the messaging and positioning of the Thematic Equity, US Large Cap Growth Equity, US Small Mid Cap Growth Equity and Global Natural Resources strategies.
George joined Newton in September 2021, following the integration of Mellon Investments Corporation’s equity and multi-asset capabilities into the Newton Investment Management Group. Before joining Newton, George was a global investment strategist, senior portfolio strategist and investment strategist at Mellon Investments Corporation and The Boston Company Asset Management (both BNY Mellon group companies).
George also worked as a portfolio specialist on the small cap team at Dreyfus, serving as a liaison between small cap portfolio managers and Dreyfus sales and marketing professionals as well as external consultants and clients. Prior to that, he worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management and Warburg Pincus, where his team was responsible for institutional client service and marketing in the Midwest region of the US.
George earned a BBA in Finance and Investments from Bernard Baruch College of the City University of New York.
