Anchit Sharma

Anchit is a responsible investment stewardship analyst supporting Newton. He is employed by BNY Mellon and is based in India. At Newton, Anchit is involved in undertaking stewardship responsibilities such as company engagements and exercising voting rights. Previously, he has worked for Institutional Investor Advisory Services (IIAS), an Indian proxy advisory firm as a research analyst, providing institutions with voting recommendations for shareholder meetings and ESG advisory. He has also worked as a consultant – credit research at SBI Mutual Fund, an Indian investment management company.
