Sakshi Bahl

Sakshi is Newton’s Head of Sustainability Research, supporting the investment philosophy, research, engagement and oversight processes that impact the wider Newton sustainable investment platform. This includes focus on defining and driving the progress on a range of sustainable investment solutions alongside providing expert opinion to the investment team on broader ESG integration issues across sectors. Sakshi’s experience extends to equity and credit investments as she started her career as a fundamental analyst and has over the past decade focused on widening this lens to assess how and why ESG (environmental, social and governance) analysis and sustainability issues impact long-term investments.

Previously, Sakshi worked at MSCI ESG Research where she was the global ESG operations lead with a focus on business involvement, screening research, ESG product building and client engagements.
