Rebecca White

Rebecca works in the responsible investment team and leads on ESG (environmental, social and governance) integration strategy across Newton’s investments. This includes setting the philosophy as to the ways in which ESG risks and opportunities can be material to investments, the ESG research agenda, and how to consider these topics within investment recommendations and investment decisions. Rebecca works with key stakeholders across the investment team to ensure that these factors are considered across the multidimensional research platform and at a portfolio level. She also sits on Newton’s micro theme oversight committee.

Prior to this, Rebecca worked in London as a responsible investment analyst, covering the consumer and industrial sectors, and led research and engagement on human capital management, biodiversity and food system sustainability.

Rebecca is a CFA¹ charterholder and holds a Law degree from the University of Exeter.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys reading and staying active with spin classes and practising yoga.
